Art Director Designer - Illustrator - Web Developer

“Good design is obvious.
Great design is transparent.”

–Joe Sparano

I believe that everything we enjoy is well designed. I'm excited by the challenge of combining form and function to produce creative content that improves the viewers’ overall experience.

I graduated from Northeastern University in 2011 with a BFA in Graphic Design, although I began my career in 2009, as Co-Founder, Creative Director & Designer for a menswear company, Annie Mulz Clothing®. The company’s value proposition was thought leadership in the streetwear industry, and in 2012 it was assessed and valued at $2.2 million. While launching and managing this business, I also worked at a specialized agency in Boston, Envision Marketing, as Lead Designer.

In 2013, I moved to New York to explore new opportunities and began working at International Data Group (IDG). During my first three years there, I was promoted from Designer and Programmer into my current role as Art Director for IDG’s Strategic Marketing Services. At IDG, I work on in-house and external creative for brands like Microsoft, Red Bull, Citrix, and Digitate. Simultaneously, I freelance as an Illustrator and Character Designer, creating work for private clients, as well as Cartoon Network and Marvel Studios, and with participation in the Artist Alley of AnimeNYC.

the Future

Citrix Future Focus Campaign

For the Citrix Future Focus Campaign, I served as Designer and Art Director. I was tasked with designing an engaging story about the future of work that targets executives, influencers, and thought leaders within the industry. I leveraged the CIO.com brand and created a sub-brand that explores the future landscape of the digital workforce.

The Digital Pen

They said you could draw anything,
so I chose anime.

As a child, I spent a lot of time imagining things. I watched anime and was inspired to write countless stories about places that I wanted to be and things that I wanted to see. I best told my stories by drawing them. As an Illustrator and Character Designer, I create worlds and stories that make people question how they see things.
