Creative Director Designer - Illustrator - Web Developer

“Good design is obvious.
Great design is transparent.”

–Joe Sparano

I believe that everything we enjoy is well designed. I'm excited by the challenge of combining form and function to produce creative content that improves the viewers’ overall experience.

I graduated from Northeastern University in 2011 with a BFA in Graphic Design, although I began my career in 2009, as Co-Founder, Creative Director & Designer for a menswear company, Annie Mulz Clothing®. The company’s value proposition was thought leadership in the streetwear industry, and in 2012 it was assessed and valued at $2.2 million. While launching and managing this business, I also worked at a specialized agency in Boston, Envision Marketing, as Lead Designer.

In 2013, I moved to New York to explore new opportunities and began working at International Data Group (IDG). During my first three years there, I was promoted from Designer and Programmer into the role of Art Director and in 2022 moved into the role of Global Creative Director of custom programs. At IDG, I work on in-house and external creative for brands like Microsoft, Amazon, Citrix, and IBM. Simultaneously, I freelance as an Illustrator and Character Designer, creating work for private clients, as well as Sony Pictures Television and Marvel Studios, and with participation in the Artist Alley of many conventions.

OpenText Digital Futures Campaign

I served as the Creative Director and Designer for OpenText's Digital Futures Campaign. I was charged with designing an engaging story around their new cloud services, security, customer experience, business networks, and organization networks. They wanted to target executives, influencers, and thought leaders within the industry. To do that, I leveraged a fresh illustrative style and iconography approach that created fast recognition of each service. Resulting in tenfold the ROI.

The Digital Pen

They said you could draw anything,
so I chose anime.

When I am not designing, I am a passionate visual artist with a love for anime and manga, which has inspired much of my creative work. Since 2015, I have committed to drawing daily, a journey that has helped me grow a dedicated following of over 120,000 across Instagram and TikTok. My work has been featured in collaborations with major industry players, including Sony Pictures Television, and I contributed promotional artwork for Marvel’s 2018 blockbuster Black Panther. I’ve self-published three books—two art collections and one graphic novel. My goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of storytelling through art and animation.
